I decided to get spontaneous and go to Costa Rica. I thought about going to Vietnam, but I figured my last 3 trips were to Asia so I'd switch it up. Back soon...

I know this is more than a year old, but while I was in China I came across this random blue contraption sitting in the middle of of a Beijing train station. At the time I joked it was a floor waxer; since then I've always wondered what that thing was for seeing as how it looked pretty official. Turns out its an "anti-explosive container".

Hey Gang, its been a while but I've been productive. I'm about 2 hours away from getting on a plane and then another plane and another and another and finally ending up somewhere in Laos to start this trip. No set itinerary, no set plans, no booked accomodations. Just an arrival date and a departure date. The plan is to hit Laos, Vietnam and Thailand over the course of the next 17 days. And after that, packing up and moving back to the mainland. There is so much going on, and so much unfolding. I promise TONS of new video from Hawaii, South East Asia, and maybe a few places you might not be expecting. I'll keep you posted.

So after more than 3 months of silence I'm back with a new video. A few weeks ago I took a flying lesson from Hawaii Flight Academy, I had a great time and will definitely try and fly over the island again before I leave Hilo. Recession be damned, I'm going to Asia (again).
So the first trip I'm taking this year is to Thailand, Vietnam and Laos. I'll be there from May 26 - June 11 shooting tons of HD video to be whacked up and put online over the Summer. The plan is to pack light, get around by train, bus, riverboat and foot, and see EVERYTHING: mountains, rivers, beaches, temples, jungles, rice patties and everything in between. Stay tuned.
