So new years is coming up, time to start making promises which will be broken by Valentines Day. I've been reflecting on this past year and comparing January 1st 2007 to January 1st 2008.
- The opportunity of moving to Hawaii had not yet manifested itself.
- Shooting video wasn't a hobby
- I was working 5 days a week with a 3 1/2 hour daily commute.
- The idea of going to China for the Olympics hadn't yet occurred to me.
- Didn't have a radio show
- Wasn't riding a motorcycle
- This website didn't exist
All said I think 2007 was a pretty positive year for me personally, this years primary goal is to be more productive and see and experience even more. I've listed some objectives for this year below.
- See more of Hawaii; the volcanoes, beaches, forests, etc...
- Complete the dustrotter triathlon (more on this later)
- Visit China, see the Great Wall, Olympics, Beijing; shoot fantastic video while there
- Get indiepad back into shape
- Put more money into savings
- Figure out where I'm moving after Hawaii (Sydney, London, Vancouver, Montreal, ?)
- Attempt to become a musician again - complete an album
